“Last Ounce of Courage,” is an intergenerational story of a grieving father inspired by his grandson to take a stand for faith and freedom against a tide of apathy and vanishing liberty. Against a backdrop of military conflict abroad and domestic wars against freedom, a highly-decorated combat veteran is reminded that we best honor our fallen heroes by not holding too loosely what they gave their all to defend. Alongside fellow citizens of courage, faith and integrity, he champions the cherished principles we the people hold dear.
Starring Marshall Teague (“Roadhouse,” “The Rock” and “Armageddon”) as small-town mayor Bob Revere, “Last Ounce of Courage” uses the vehicle of a public religious display to ignite a spark and lights
a fire under a community that honors its American values, but has tired of fighting the “American Civil Liberties Organization” (ACLO) over the very rights guaranteed them by the Constitution. Former NFL great Fred Williamson (“Black Caesar”) ably plays the villain in the film as the head of the ACLO.
Encouraged by his grandson, played by Hunter Gomez (“National Treasure”), and his wife Dottie, played by Academy Award nominee Jennifer O?Neill (“Summer of ?42″), Bob finally takes a stand for his beliefs and revives his townspeople?s latent patriotism. Leading the younger generation to join in and make a difference is Bob?s young neighbor, Maddie Rogers, played by Jenna Boyd (“Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants”), who comically hijacks the town?s annual generic school pageant.
The film is being produced by Veritas Entertainment, under the leadership of Kevin McAfee (“Beyond the Gates of Splendor,” “The End of the Spear”) and Steve Griffin (former CEO at Nest Entertainment and EMI/Chordant), both of whom have a passion for creating and reaching audiences with entertainment products centered around the character values that undergird family, faith and freedom.

Kevin, this trailer about made me cry it was so wonderful! Thank you. Can’t wait to see the movie. Thank you for what you are producing for us all!
Hello,
So glad you are doing this! We just found out, and are going to get tickets for some young kids in college as the theatres are too far for our family to go. I have a request to make of you…when you are making movies, since you are already doing something different than mainstream, would you consider leaving out child romances? Another family movie company does put them in, and they are troubling. Sometimes we don’t even notice something is wrong because we are so used to it…like living near sewage. Surely if a parent would not allow a marriage for a child in the home it is okay to place boundaries on dating? I felt I could bring this up to you, because you do not seem to be a company interested in reflecting back to us a blessing on our “normal” ills, but rather inspiring us to come away from our lapses and our self-destructive measures. Thank you for your time in reading this. We are grateful that you invested of yourselves and your resources to bring us quality and thought-provoking entertainment.
Sincerely,
CK
I just went & saw this movie and took my 17-year old son. Neither he nor I left the theater with dry eyes. He wouldn’t even let me leave when it was over. He wanted to stay til the last credit rolled. We weren’t the only ones to sit there til the very end. Many stayed behind after the last scene, and there was even a round of applause. I felt so inspired and so thankful for the veterans that love our country enough to serve it and risk their lives for their fellow Americans. May God bless this film and all who see it, and those of you who made sure to get it out to the masses. You are doing great work, and everyone should see this, especially the youth of today–many who are uninformed & uneducated. They need to see what makes our country so great & to appreciate the freedoms they enjoy daily!
I was somewhat dissappointed in the attendance. There were a total of 8 people watching the movie we were all in our sixties and we all visited as we left the theater. Every one loved the movie. I hope it comes on a DVD. It may become the New anual Christmas Movie
